Bobby Humphreys didn’t like this little Chihuahua named Lady at first, but when the two spent some time together, he realized how awesome little dogs can be.
Bobby has always loved adopting dogs and has mostly adopted big dogs all his life. It doesn’t mean that he hates little breeds, but he just can’t see himself with them. He kept thinking this way until he met a tiny Chihuahua who changed his mind.
Bobby’s life turned into misery when he and his wife separated after being together for 17 years. He became so upset that he didn’t want to continue his life. In those hard times, his friend Connie was there by his side, and she didn’t leave until Bobby got back on his feet.
Connie had to move houses, so she asked Bobby to keep her Chihuahua named Lady in his home. Bobby knew that the dog wasn’t friendly, but he had already received many favors from Connie and couldn’t say no to her.
It turns out that Lady liked Bobby and was friendly toward him. She was happy to spend time with him. Bobby soon started to enjoy her company. Later that day, when Connie visited the house to check on her dog, she was surprised to see that the two were having a good time together.
When Lady left Bobby’s place, he started missing the dog. Later, he decided to adopt a Chihuahua for himself and named her Kira.
Bobby treated Kira very well and helped her recover from the terrible conditions in which her previous owners kept her. By doing so, he realized that there might be more dogs in need of good care, so he started adopting as many dogs as he could.
It’s beautiful how this little dog inspired a big man to save the lives of many other dogs.
