This story is about a dog who wanted nothing in his life but a loving family, and a food bowl, he could call his own. Call him, Oliver! He was an orphaned dog who got picked up by the police and then taken to the shelter. He was about a year old at the time of rescue.
When he reached the shelter and when he first saw his bowl, he never let it out of his jaws unless he was eating. Oliver enjoys a treat all the time; he was well-trained and would do every trick he knew just to get treats.
Last month, Oliver was taken to the Memphis Animal Services, Tennessee, and he was taken there because he was a rough little doggy. He’s a bit naughty, all right. But he doesn’t bite. However, he gets protective of his beloved steel bowl.
He’s very possessive of his bowl like it was some kind of treasure. Over time the staff noticed that he didn’t only love food, but he also loved his very own bowl. The team started posting photos of him and his steel bowl online. His fame skyrocketed. You cannot deny his adorable charm.
To top this story off, Oliver gets adopted by two women who were dedicated to giving him everything he could need, mainly a forever home. The shelter did not let him go alone without his best friend made out of steel. Oliver is happy now with his forever family, and, of course, his bowl.
This is truly a heart-warming and endearing story for a dog like Oliver, especially because he was supposed to be put down the day after he got adopted. Talk about timing! This is indeed one happy ending — a happy dog with a forever home and a forever bowl.
