Working from home is everyone’s dream. Imagine not having to wake up early in the morning and commute to and from work five days a week. Perfect, right? Or maybe not for everyone.
You see, working from home has its own set of challenges. For one, you need to have a quiet workspace where you can focus on work. Second, you need to have zero distractions. And by distractions, we mean everything—including our four-legged friends.
While family members can easily be shooed away from a conference, pets are a different story. Pets, especially dogs, love it when you are working from home. Why? Because for them, nothing is better than being able to see and cuddle with you every day.
Worse, dogs tend to invade your private space even while you’re busy working. But while it may sound annoying, they are definitely a stress reliever and a breath of fresh air. Take Brody, for example.
Many people the world over have been forced to work from home due to the pandemic and the results are hilarious. FOX 13 News’ weathercaster, Paul Dellegatto, has been interrupted many times by his adorable Goldie while working from home.
In one take, Dellegatto explains to the viewers that the maps aren’t going to move because his naughty dog, Brody, just whacked the computer with his head. Other times, Brody would play with the mic. And most times, the needy pup would stand on his legs and put his paws on Dellegatto’s lap like he doesn’t care about work.
The adorable pup has become a regular appearance in Dellegatto’s weathercasts, providing much needed comic relief during these troubled times. And Brody never fails to put a smile on everyone’s faces, including Dellegatto’s FOX 13 News co-workers.
