An 8-year-old Golden Retriever named Lily took social media by storm with her adorableness. In a viral TikTok video, Lily was seen holding a doggy bag filled with treats in her mouth and then handing over the order to a customer. She then proceeded to shake hands with the woman as if saying thank you for a good business transaction.
Her cute video has now been viewed over 15.9 million times with 3.3 million likes and shared 209,000 times. She really warmed and won hearts with that lovely interaction and had the internet gushing over her.
Lily the trained dog server
The sweet, friendly, and gentle Lily is one of the world’s first-ever dog waitresses. She serves organic, grain-free, and gluten-free dog bites freshly made from the food truck owned by her parents Michael and Tanya Ludden. The couple recently started their Original Dog Treat Truck Company and when the pandemic hit, the business really boomed.
Their healthy and delectable doggy treats range from $8 to $12 and their top sellers include Woof Waffles, Four-legged Froyos, and NutriPooch smoothies. And Lily gladly delivers these treats to their pup patrons at food truck parks in Austin, Texas. Not only does she love delivering these bags of goodies to her valued dog clientele, but she also loves meeting other dogs and their humans.
As for compensation, Lily would get a lot of praise from customers and her parents as well. She was also paid through belly rubs and of course, her own delectable treats. And during her day off, Lily loves to swim and just have some fun adventures with her family who had been caring for her since she was 8 weeks old.
Last Spring, she was nicknamed the treat delivery specialist and she took on that role happily.
