Bryan Thompson decided to walk through his neighborhood’s local park, not knowing that he would come across a heartwarming scene amidst the freezing winter morning in Nova Scotia, Canada. Bryan saw a man walking through the snowy path while pulling a wagon that contains the stranger’s most valuable cargo.
Bryan approached the stranger he saw and saw a white pooch lying comfortably in the wagon. The pup was wrapped in a warm, cozy blanket to protect her from the winter chill.
I don’t know this man, and I hope he won’t mind this post. This guy with an awesome heart was walking his dog through…
Bryan spoke to the man and discovered that the white pooch has a spinal cord disorder called Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS, which was the reason for the dog’s disability. Despite the dog’s paralysis, it did not stop the pair from taking long walks outside their home.
It turns out that the stranger gifted his companion with a wagon that he personally built because he wanted to make his pup feel that she is still a normal, healthy dog. The pooch looked content as she laid snugly in the wagon with her owner.
Bryan could not hold himself back and told the stranger that he was a wonderful person for doing something so selfless for his dog. Bryan knew that not many dog owners would build a cart for their paralyzed dog, and he was thankful that the dog has a loving owner.
The stranger, in return, told Bryan that he believes that his dog would do the same thing for him if he were in her position. Bryan shared the touching encounter on his Facebook account and admitted that he teared up as he typed his post.
Bryan’s post garnered a whopping 48,000 likes and over 50,000 shares from various Facebook users across the globe. He even encouraged people to share his story because the stranger deserved the appreciation for the love that he has for his fur baby.
