BuzzFeed loves dogs. Just how much you might ask. Too much some might say.
In fact, BuzzFeed conducted a series of celebrity interviews where they let their subjects answer fan questions while playing with a pack of puppies. Those who participated in the series included Hollywood A-listers such as Daniel Radcliffe, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Keanu Reeves, among others. If those videos were not cute enough, BuzzFeed has also produced canine-centered videos such as Puppyhood.
Puppyhood is a short film. It runs for about three and a half minutes. It’s about a man who finds his soulmate in a tiny dog.
Wondering how this story pans out? Watch the video below.
The video starts with our protagonist walking the sidewalk with his earphones on. He’s a guy who kind of looks clueless and directionless. Or maybe we are just too judgy.
Anyways, our nameless protagonist passes by an animal shop. There, despite having his earphones on, he hears a whimpering puppy. The sound of the whimpering puppy makes the man stop to do some investigating.
He meets the whimpering puppy and decides to take it home. As with any human and puppy relationship, our protagonist and his new doggo are awkward together at first. But the man tries hard to make his new canine companion at home in his humble abode.
Our protagonist thinks of possible names for his new pet. The dog was almost named King Charles. After further inspection, King Charles becomes Queen Charles. We’re not quite sure if the dog ends up with that name, though.
Puppyhood shows the usual things a dog parent gets to experience with his or her pup. Make sure to watch the whole thing.
