California man named Karo Orudzhyan recently had the trip of a lifetime. Karo and Ice, his three-year-old husky, visited the Sequoia National Park to see some deer and some of the world’s largest trees. However, they got more than they had bargained for.
The duo was about to leave the park when Karo spotted a brown bear on the road, approaching their car. Karo was shocked to see the wild animal and immediately stopped driving. Then, he started filming to document the rare close encounter with the wild creature.
Karo said that this was the first time that he had ever seen a bear, so he was very excited. The wild animal climbed up to the car’s windshield as if it wanted to get to Karo’s dog. It was sniffing the pup. Ice, on the other hand, lived up to his name. He did not make any unwanted sounds and kept his cool.

The bear pressed its paws on the car and swiped at the glass. Ice pressed his nose against the windshield too. When the bear moved toward the back of the vehicle, Ice curiously followed along and went to the back seat. Karo and Ice got a good look at the wild animal’s big paws and long claws.
Then, the brown bear hopped up onto the car’s trunk. That’s when Karo got a bit worried. So, Karo took his foot off of the break, which rolled the vehicle. Although the bear was spooked off, it stayed close to the car.
Karo and Ice stayed and watched the bear for a few more minutes. According to Karo, he was not even looking at what he was filming. He wanted to take that moment in so that he could remember the experience. The bear left some scratches on the vehicle, but it was nothing that Karo could not fix.
