Not everyone can meet the demands of working for the Central Intelligence Agency. Such is the story of a pup named Lulu, who was removed from a CIA training program designed to train doggos to sniff out explosives.
It only took a few weeks until trainers noticed that Lulu wasn’t showing an interest in a lifetime service with the CIA. Although trainers had hoped Lulu would overcome this drop in motivation, they would soon find out that the pup couldn’t get herself to enjoy the program’s activities.
The CIA trainers tried to motivate the adorable pup with food so she could actively participate in the program but to no avail. Lulu wanted to have a forever family and she was clearly demanding one!
Because of this, the trainers had to make the difficult decision to drop the pup out of the program. Although it meant that her badge was getting removed, Lulu was happy that she wasn’t going to be forced to do something she didn’t want to do.
Thankfully, Lulu’s handler during the program adopted her and provided her with the loving family she’s always wanted. Instead of sniffing out explosives in hidden areas, Lulu is now sniffing out the critters in her backyard just for fun!
The folks at the CIA, although saddened by Lulu’s departure, are certainly happy that Lulu’s as happy as she could get. Her story has been widely shared by people on social media after the CIA shared her story online, noting that many dogs who retire from the intelligence agency eventually get a good life with a loving family.
Lulu mostly spends her time playing with the children in her home, eating treats she’s constantly given, and being the friendly dog everyone absolutely adores. Although she let go of a life that could get her medals and honors, she enjoys being a carefree pup and living the life she definitely deserves.
