Dogs are probably one of the most compassionate animals you can ever have as a companion. They are not just caring and playful, but they also genuinely have a heart of gold especially when it comes to helping other animals! And in this video, a little pooch is the perfect example of how helpful canines can be.

Meet Monica and her three-year-old dog named Hazel. One rainy day, she allowed little Hazel outside to take her much-needed potty break. After giving enough time for Hazel to enjoy roaming around, Monica noticed that her little girl hadn’t returned yet. She slightly got worried and tried to look for her outside.

But as she searched outside to see if the pooch needed any help, she couldn’t believe her eyes! Hazel was helping a little friend to get through the rain! That little friend happened to be a kitten.

Monica had been hearing the whimpering of a little scared kitty. But what surprised her was seeing Hazel trying to coax the kitten who had been soaked by the rain.

From the looks of the kitten, it was cold, hungry, and needed a place to stay.

Monica hurriedly took her phone to record every moment on camera. As seen in the video, Hazel was tagging along a kitten to get some shelter.  It was as if she was telling the kitty, “Don’t be scared. Come to my house and we’ll take care of you!”

The frightened kitten allowed Hazel to lead the way as she was very cold and tired. When they finally reached Monica’s house, they both needed to hop on the stairs to get in the house. Hazel, being the helpful dog that she is, gently grabbed the kitty behind its neck and lifted her on top of the stairs.

Monica was astonished and pleased with Hazel’s gestures as she tried to get everything on camera.

In no time, Monica welcomed the kitten in her home and named her Sheba. Eventually, she was adopted by her brother and is now living her life to the fullest.  What a heartwarming story, don’t you think?

Watch little Hazel’s heroic acts in the video below and prepare to be amazed.
